Macallan 30 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask Single Malt Whisky

A now exceptionally rare and sought-after 30 year old, (circa 1999) matured entirely in sherry oak casks and the last release of the sherried 30 Year Old classic before the introduction of the less celebrated "Fine Oak" series. It was also the last 30 year old before Macallan revamped their bottle shape and packaging. The end of an era in every respect! Packed in a blue wooden presentation case. Excellent fill level and some minor blemishes but otherwise very good overall condition.

This distinguished single malt is matured exclusively for thirty years in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. Laying undisturbed in the same casks for this thirty-year period, the maturing spirit transforms to create this luxurious, naturally dark, single malt whisky characterised by its rich flavours of dried fruits, orange and spice.
